Overview
The IrisAccess® iA1000 series delivers next-generation security through iris and face fusion; providing unmatched accuracy, speed, and a frictionless experience. Its advanced optical system instantly captures high-quality biometrics and is supported by a circular LCD interface that intuitively guides users for faster and more consistent authentication. The iA1000 series also incorporates industry-leading security, featuring certified Presentation Attack Detection (PAD) to defend against spoofing and ensure trusted, non-contact identity authentication in all environments.
Designed for flexibility, the iA1000 comes in two configurations, both equipped with dual iris and face cameras and a new circular user-guidance display. Each model includes a 7" touchscreen LCD with optional PIN pad, Wi-Fi, PoE, and support for both OSDP and Wiegand. The optional advanced multi-format card reader not only supports traditional physical cards but is fully enabled for mobile credentials, ensuring the iA1000 is future ready for modern, smartphone-based access ecosystems.

Yes. The iA1000 and iCAM 7S can operate together. iCAM 7S units will require a firmware update, provided to customers who purchase the iA1000 and iAMS software to be installed in the existing infrastructure.
The iA1000 uses a modern, web-enabled software platform with a different database structure. Iris ID provides a migration tool to transfer all enrollment data from EAC to iAMS. Customers may also operate both systems (iCAM 7S/EAC and iA1000/iAMS) on the same network for a transition period. This allows for gradual migration, proper user training, and verification of data integrity before full cutover.
The iA1000 cannot operate with the EAC software. A migration from the EAC database to iAMS is required, and Iris ID provides a migration tool to convert the EAC database into the iAMS format. As noted above, customers may run both systems – iCAM 7S with EAC and iA1000 with iAMS – on the same network during a transition period. This approach supports phased migration, enables proper user training, and allows customers to validate data integrity before completing the full cutover.
No, not until June 2026. Customers purchasing the iA1000 and iAMS may continue using their existing EAC licenses during this transition period at no additional cost. Iris ID will announce formal pricing for iAMS in mid-2026, and we will continue to honor all existing EAC license holders with a free upgrade path to iAMS.
Yes. With the updated firmware, iCAM 7S devices can operate alongside iA1000 units within the iAMS platform. If the customer needs to maintain both EAC and iAMS during a transition period before full cutover, the iCAM 7S can continue to be managed by EAC until the migration is fully completed.
Iris ID currently offers two iA1000 models: iA1000-WPN (Wi-Fi + PoE, no smartcard) and iA1000-WPH (Wi-Fi + PoE + smartcard). A Wi-Fi–disabled version (requested by corporate security teams) is in development. Pricing will match the WPH/WPN models. Please contact our business development representative for pricing.
